outh Kent resident, artist, and art advisor Steven Lowy is a recent winner of SUNY Oswego's sculpture competition. Lowy has created solar sculptures that fuse solar-energy generation with art. Working with the latest improvements in photo-voltaic panels and LED technologies, his first design Butterfly Effect now graces the campus of SUNY Oswego. The sculpture can support an installation of landscape lights that can be used to illuminate plantings or other sculptures.
